November Photo Hunt

yeah, I know. it's December 6th. I'm really freaking late on this, but I just got around to uploading and editing these pictures. I figured since I took them, and I put them on the computer, and I spent time editing them, I might as well go ahead and post them. soooo here we go - playing late!

October Photo Hunt | Tilt Shift Photography

let me preface this by saying that I still do not understand the whole Tilt Shift thing. I simply used the Tilt Shift Maker website to edit this photo, along with many others before this one, and this turned out to my favorite of the bunch.

October Photo Hunt | Something Creepy

I have to admit, I didn't try very hard to find something creepy to photograph, because... well... I didn't want to have to face something creepy. so this humongo spider from Joey's Halloween party will have to do.

October Photo Hunt | A Shot From The Ground

this is Poo. he's my cousin's kitty cat. he was so very sweet while I was visiting. he must have sensed that I'm a crazy cat lady (as they all do), because he even slept with me at night and stayed for cuddles in the morning. he has the most fantastic purr.

October Photo Hunt | A Self Portrait

this shot will serve as one of my archived pictures, but it was taken in the last few months (summer), so it still counts. :)

Sean and I were on our way to Baltimore to celebrate our anniversary with dinner at Aldo's in little Italy.

I really like this picture of myself, even though I'm kinda pale for it being the end of July. pale is the new tan!

if you own a dSLR camera, you know how difficult it is to take a good self portrait without using a mirror, haha.

October Photo Hunt | Children

I had the opportunity to take tons of great pictures during my trip to Blacksburg, Virginia this weekend. I stayed in McCoy with my cousin, who just happens to have two children, Peyton (two and a half) and Ella (six months).

for the October Photo Hunt Challenge, I'm choosing this picture of Peyton. I took this at my great-aunt's house, where family members from all over gathered for their annual apple butter making adventure. he was eating an apple, freshly picked two days prior.

it was so great to spend time with my family, especially the kids. I haven't seen Peyton in over a year, and it's crazy how much he's grown - physically AND mentally. he is so smart for a two and a half year old, and I can only hope that I'm a great mom like my cousin one day.

stay tuned for more Photo Hunt posts!
