News has it that, Salman Khan has chosen Nargis Fakhri as his heroine for a superhero film.

If buzz is to be believed, Salman Khan is looking forward to rope in Nargis for brother Sohail Khan’s production titled Sher Khan which will reportedly have Sallu playing a superhero.

Sohail wants a new girl to pair with Salman in the film. And Nargis — though she won’t be a newbie by the film Sher Khan goes on the floors — tops Khan’s wishlist.

The film is set to roll by the end of this year. More than anything, it offers Nargis a plum chance to cement her place in B-town.

Aamir Khan Performs at Super Stars Ka Jalwa

Aamir Khan, who has turned down several offers from the small screen, will finally come on STAR CINTAA - Super Stars Ka Jalwa for his first ever stage performance.

Media reports, "Even though, initially when approached by Star CINTAA, Aamir had to postpone the shoot due to a serious leg injury but true to his word, he recuperated and completed the shoot in record time in spite of not having too much experience of performing on stage."

Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and R. Madhavan gives him a good support with latest flick 3 Idiot's tracks like 'Zoobie Doobie' with Kareena Kapoor and 'All Izz Well' with remaining two.

For a good cause, he did a stage performance after 10 years. This fund will be used to construct a building that will have medical facilities, rehearsal halls, theatre, gym, club, library, restaurant and two offices.

Finally, after much speculation over who the leading lady will be in Kabir Khan’s directorial next with Salman in the lead, Katrina Kaif has officially landed the role.

Salman Khan who had a few objections to Kat being in the film, has automatically resolved the same. A source close to the film confirmed, “Katrina and Salman are still very good friends. There is no animosity now.”

Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were also being considered for the role. “But obviously, the role suits Katrina better. Moreover, having worked with Kabir Khan, she is Kabir’s favourite; they share a very good equation,” added the source.

All said and done, this year seems to be turning out really well for the Kaif girl. She now has a film with not just Salman in his post Dabangg glory but also with Shah Rukh to be directed by none other than Yash Chopra himself.

Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor are coming together in the movie Bodyguard. Salman Khan will be in the lead role in this movie. This film will be remake of Malayalam film BODYGUARD in Hindi. Kareena Kapoor will be opposite Salman Khan in this movie.
First Katrina Kaif was choosen for the role in Bodyguard Movie opposite Salman Khan but she refused the movie as she didn't have dates matching the scheduled release of the film on Eid next year.

Salman launches the music of READY in Hatke style

                        The music launch of Bhushan Kumar's READY was a star-studded affair with Salman Khan at his wittiest best sharing more than a few quotable quotes. "I don't want to be bitten by a makdi and be spiderman or wear a red chaddi and be superman. I am Ever-Ready Salmaan," grinned the actor who danced away to the popular songs of Ready. Accompanied by the beautiful Asin and the hot Zarine Khan, Sallu shared moments with producer Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar and director Anees Bazmee. But the highlight was when he called choreographer Mudasir on stage and shook a leg with him.                                                      The actor made the moment memorable for the workers of Film City, Mumbai. He gave away sarees to the women workers and other gifts to the men who make Film City happen. Host Bhushan Kumar was overwhelmed. "Salman bhai is a good human being and only he can think of such an act. I am very glad we have made this event so personal to those who make our movies happen behind the scenes," said Bhushan Kumar, the head honcho of T Series.

Genelia gives cold shoulder to John

John Abraham is known for being the health freak in town. So, wherever he goes, his healthy habits are bound to follow him.

Recently when John and Genelia D'Souza, who incidentally is his new co-star in the film FORCE, remake of KAAKHA KAAKHA, were munching together, John took hold of the opportunity and gave Genelia some lessons in healthy eating.

But, Genelia was in no mood to cut on her fried snacks. The actress continued munching despite John going on with his diet tips. As a result John had no option but to shrug his shoulders and walk away.

Sonakshi Sinha – All set ready to beat Latest Hit Bollywood Item Songs 2011

Now a day Twitter plays really important role for Bollywood Industry for example Shirish Kunder who is Sonakshi Sinha Upcoming Next Joker Movie director, uploaded an exclusive image of her dance track ‘Dance Karle English Mein’ from this Hindi Movie which was hinting towards a dance sequence of the likes of Bollywood Latest Hit Item Songs ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’.

The film’s script demanded a song and as she wanted to do something Desi, the song was pictured accordingly.

As per Latest Bollywood Interviews, he said that, "It was a different movie and ours is different. ‘Dance Karle English Mein' isn't a song that has been injected into the movie as an item number. It is there because it takes the story forward. We are not trying to replicate 'Munni' here."
"On the contrary Sonakshi wanted something as 'desi' as this for her.”

Joker Movie is scheduled for a December release.

Recently, she was a true revelation when she took the stage at the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2011.

As per Latest Sonakshi Sinha Interviews, she said that, "I’m finally going to dance in Joker. I wouldn't call it an item song because I'm the film's heroine and item songs are performed by guest artists. But, I know it will be well shot and lavish and aesthetic because it’s being choreographed by Farah Khan.”

Tha battle for Bollywood's hottest item queen is on!

                                         Move over Malaika and Katrina, Mallika Sherawat is here.

In what seems like an open challenge to two of the hottest Bollywood item queens, Mallika Sherawat danced to an item song at Yashraj Studios, whose words blatantly mocked Katrina and Malaika's twin triumphs.

Mallika sang, "Munni bhi maani aur Sheila bhi maani, Shalu ke thumke ki duniya deewani."

Apparently the "Munni" and "Sheila" choreographer was approached to do Mallika's "Shalu ke thumke." But Farah Khan refused, saying that she only choreographs for very close family friends.

According to a source, the lyrics were originally quite different for the song.

"By openly singing that she's better than 'Munni' and 'Sheila,' Mallika is sending out a clear signal to the entertainment industry. It was Mallika who wanted the Munni-Sheila element incorporated into the song. Composer Anand Raj Anand modified the tune accordingly," the source said.

"Mallika wants to position herself as the No.1 item queen of Bollywood. She feels her 'Maiyya maiyya' in 'Guru' came long before 'My name is Sheila' and 'Munni badnaam.' This year she has already performed two item songs and is open to more," added the source.

What's more, her image as the tantrum queen is now a thing of the past. While shooting for "Munni bhi maani Sheila bhi maani", Mallika was on her best behaviour.

Is there trouble in Kat-Ranbir paradise?

Their sweet love story has hit a ‘rock’ bottom literally, as the industry is abuzz with rumours that Katrina Kaif is insisting on having a rock on her finger. And Ranbir is supposedly not too keen on the idea.

Although the pretty actress has denied the rumour by calling it ‘ugly,’ no one is really convinced. An insider has reportedly said that Katrina is more demanding than Deepika in her relationship with Ranbir. While Deepika asked for commitment, Katrina is asking for them to tie the knot.

A patch-up between the two is not ruled out too. At the moment, it would be more apt to say that they have had a big fight, rather than to say that they have ended their relationship.

If sources are to be believed, Katrina would love to get back with Ranbir, who also likes her very much. But he is certainly not thinking in terms of marriage with her at this point of time.

When Salman Khan is in a room, it’s obvious that he’s going to be the centre of attention. And of course, that’s what happened at the music launch of ‘Ready’. But generally at a music launch, the music director is given a fair chance to speak and is acknowledged by everyone. But that’s not what happened at the music launch of ‘Ready’. Pritam, who is the music director, was completely sidelined at the event. Salman hugged singer Neeraj Sridhar warmly but completely ignored Pritam, who was standing next to him. In fact, Salman didn’t even say anything about Pritam on stage. So is there a little tiff between the two? Watch this space for updates!

Meanwhile, what Salman did show off at the ‘Ready’ music launch was his philanthropic side. At the event, he felicitated workers living in Film City in Mumbai. He invited Film City workers to the music launch and also presented them with clothes.

"When I was shooting for my film 'Bodyguard' I realised that there are so many people who work day in and day out and when we organise events we call such people, who don't even appreciate anything. So I thought that we should call those people who work here," Salman revealed.

"Ideas just come to me, so this time I thought why not felicitate the people of Film City because these are the people who are the masses also and have also been a part of the film. We have shared such a long relationship with them and no one invites them for any events," he added.

The workers were very excited to be getting gifts from Salman Khan and on being honoured by the entire cast and crew of the film including Asin, Zarine Khan and director Anees Bazmee among others.

Salman even distributed chocolates and fed children of the workers, making for a completely endearing sight.

Asin was elated too, to be part of this music launch with a difference.

"I feel very happy to be in front of the film city workers who have helped us make the film that we have made. It takes a lot of pride and pleasure to showcase our trailers and songs in front of all of them.
‘Ready’ is up for release on June 3.

She's denied approaching Shahid's dad for a role

Katrina Kaif has slammed rumours that she approached actor-director Pankaj Kapoor for a role in his directorial debut 'Mausam'.

"This is entirely untrue," Katrina, who is currently working on Zoya Akhtar's 'Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara' and Yash Raj's 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan', said in a statement.

Added a source: "The news is utter rubbish. Katrina is in a position to pick and choose roles of her choice. She never lobbied for the role in 'Mausam' and such rumours are spread by sources with vested interests."

'Mausam' stars Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor and is up for release in July this year.

Buzz is that Nargis Fakhri is on the Khan radar

Salman Khan might have a brand new heroine opposite him in his brother Sohail's next movie (that's apparently called Sher Khan). And rumour has it that the girl the Khans have zeroed in on is none other than Ranbir Kapoor's 'Rockstar' leading lady - the very hot Nargis Fakhri.

Salman and Sohail are apparently keen on working with Nargis, who is already creating quite a buzz in the industry. Sohail, supposedly, wants a new face for the movie, with Nargis as a front-runner for the role. Although other actresses are allegedly sending the brothers feelers for the role, Sohail, in particular, is said to be keen on having Nargis for Sher Khan.

Box Office Reports…

Last Friday’s release Tanu Weds Manu has taken a decent start at the box office while last week’s release 7 Khoon Maaf is going down.

Tanu Weds Manu, starring Kangana Ranaut as a rebellious small-town girl dead against arranged marriage and Madhavan as a possible suitor hand-picked by her parents, has opened to a fairly good 40 percent response at ticket windows. Though the response was more heartening in north India than elsewhere, the film is expected to perform well in the coming weeks because it doesn’t have any stiff competition at box office.

Vishal Bhardwaj’s much hyped 7 Khoon Maaf has turned out to be a colossal disappointment. It rounded off its first week with a collection of Rs. 15 crore nett.

Salman always gets what he wants….

Salman insisted on adapting Ringa Ringa a hit Telugu song from Arya 2 and transformed it to Dhinka Chika for his upcoming movie. Not just that, he was unhappy with the lyrics of the Hindi film’s song and asked them to be changed.

A source revealed, “Salman always gets what he wants. He has a great rapport with the Ready producer Bhushan Kumar. He rang him up saying the song needs new lyrics. In fact he refused to shoot for the song until they came up with better lyrics. Since they were on an outdoor shoot in Bangkok, the crew went ahead and shot the song nonetheless.”

Salman sat with Devi Sri Prasad, the composer of the original Telugu track and came up with new lyrics. Buzz is that the actor bore the entire expenses of re-shooting the complete song with new lyrics.

“He wants Dhinka Chika to be the song of 2011. It already has the potential to be a huge chartbuster. Hence Salman got new lyrics penned and re-recorded the whole song,” the source added.
