Who Got Eliminated on Idol? - American Idol, Top 5 Results Show

Over 60 million votes came in last night, the highest of this season.
Wow.
Ryan Seacrest, in all his formal-suit glory, dropped the iconic phrase, "You might be surprised"
Are we?
Well, if you will base your judgement from the performances yesterday, you'll already have an idea on who'll be sent packing.

Jimmy Iovine, the hybrid reincarnation of Simon Cowell -minus the English accent- scolded Lauren Alaina for pulling back to belt out the "high" note in Unchained Melody.

Iovine predicted that Alaina will be in the bottom two (B2) this week, he was absolutely right.
Lauren was joined by Jacob Lusk in the B2 after receiving a 6-point criticism from their mentor, Iovine who said that Lusk had a rough night and both songs that he sang, No Air and Love Hurts, were off. I agree!

So now it's between Lauren and Jacob.

The sixteen-year old Lauren Alaina, her very first time to be in the bottom 2, did not manage to control her emotions. She cried. tears flowed down on her face, it messed up her Greek-goddess make-up and everything...
The result, drum-rolls, America said Jacob Lusk is going home.

Who Got Eliminated on Idol? Casey Abrams Goes Home - American Idol Season 10, Top 6 Elimination Show

How Steven Tyler Itched And Heard God - American Idol Season 10, Top 6 Recap

We all have heard Steven Tyler say holy shiz instead of sh*t, but tonight he went beyond holiness and pushed extra hard that he heard the Almighty voice?

Last week, he got bleeped when he dropped the F-bomb to Casey Abrams. This time,   the 63-year old Idol Judge didn't swear that much - yet still managed to emerge truthfully entertaining.

After Haley Reinhart's rendition of Carole King's Beautiful, the ever weird Steven said, " I just heard God in your voice, you nailed it."

In a separate instance, I couldn't help but laugh when he told Casey, "It's the best mother-loving show i've seen. You made my scalp itch it was so good." The rock-star must have forgot to use his anti-dandruff shampoo, eh?

Tyler's creative, poetic and  insane dirty words of wisdom shock and sometimes awe viewers. No wonder he is one of the must-see ethereal "clown" in every episode of this season's American Idol.
Truly God knows everything, even Steven's Itch.

The Top 6 remaining Idol hopefuls brought nostalgia on stage by singing the hits of Carole King in tonights episode of American Idol Season 10.

Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina Sing "Up On The Roof"
These two contestants have a "distinct" chemistry that makes their duets quite phenomenal - in the past
I just love the fact that Lauren seems at-ease whenever she performs with Scotty, how i wish she could pull off that kind of confidence in her solo performances.
With regard to their duet, i don't think they got it right this time - it fell flat on the floor.

Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart brought flavor in tonights show with this performance. Seriously, i enjoyed every moment of it. Their husky and cranky voice when combined is pleasing to the ears.
One little comment that i have for this number is there ain't much connection between the two of them - i'm sure they'll work this "issue" out. Ha?

These pricks, James Durbin and Jacob Lusk, sang this one just because they need to. LOL!
What do you expect, there will be no chemistry because first of all Durbin isn't gay.
So the "Broke Back Mountain" connection sh*t that the AI producers are trying to pull off in this performance will not work, OKAY?

Stefano Langone, Voted Off - American Idol, Top 7 Elimination

Stefano Langone Eliminated on "Idol", Photo: Michael Becker/FOX
More than 52 million votes came in this Thursday's (April 21) result show to pluck out America's least favorite out off Top 7, unfortunately the needed "reinforcement" did not come "Closer" to the hunky, Italiano boy-toy.

Who's in the bottom three? Jacob Lusk, Haley Reinhart, and Stefano Langone shared some anxiety and agony in the stools. Lusk did an "emotional" cover of Luther Vandross, while Reinhart delivered a top notch version of Adelle's "Rolling In The Deep - them two are safe, but (maybe) one of them is on the verge of being eliminated next week.
As expected, JLo's favorite, Langone was sent home from today's episode of American Idol, Season 10.  For the "fourth" time, the wild-card's luck has run out.

Casey and Haley Rule The Night, Stefano Is In Danger - American Idol, Top 7 Performances

In today's episode of American Idol Season 10, The Top 7 Idol-hopefuls rocked the songs of the 21st century.
Some sounded pleasantly "current," while a few got left behind years ago - performance wise.
So what? Idol castoffs, Ashthon Jones, Karen Rodriguez, Thea Megia, Naima Adepapo, and last week's eliminated-Twilight-star-h*oker Paul McDonald surprised everyone when they "resurrected" on the show.
Well, so what?

Scotty McCreery was the "opening act" and for the first time, i got bored watching. Like LeAnn Rhime's thinning-almost bulimic body, Scotty's style has gotten, hmm, a little uninteresting. Definitely, this 17-year old cowboy needs improvement. (See Scotty's "Swingin'" Performance)

Scary! The drummer boy James Durbin, complete with spooky dramatic entrance and a "marching band," reeked in screaming Muse's havoc throughout his performance. With that "window-breaking" high notes, he should have been included in Scream 4. (See James' "Uprising" Performance)

And then comes Haley, clad in a striking red dress. She did a cover of Adelle's "Rolling In The Deep." This Haley girl has her own style, that sexy growling - it'll bring her millions.(See Haley's "Rolling In The Deep" Performance)

Bring on the drama, here comes the male Oprah. Jacob Lusk's emotions flew to high heavens, well, god must have forgotten to send his vocal "control" back to earth. If he wants to act, just ask for JHud's advice. As for his singing, same old brand new Jacob. *sigh (See Jacob's "Dance With My Father" Performance)

Casey knows how to make a scene, the kind that people will remember you with (and will make them vote for you too.) With what he sang today, he's worth every dollar that America will spend on their "cool vice," that is, VOTING FOR THEIR IDOL BETS. This judges' saved contestant elevated his performance this week with a surprise "kiss." Jeez, i hope it ain't Judas kiss.(See Casey's "Harder To Breathe" Performance)

Stefano Langone, the Italiano boy-toy, laid all his cards on stage. He did some "pimp dancing" so the votes will come "Closer." He's more like of a pornstar to me now, yeah with that sexy outfit, but you see he may be in danger tomorrow. What if Langone's time has come? Can Mama Mia, JLo handle it? (See Stefano's "Closer" Performance)

Who closed the show? Lauren Alaina. Have you noticed how intricate her hairstyle is every week? I just hope that her confidence is at par with her hair-do, for me she's still holding back. Thank god, she has a lot of girl fans that will, maybe, bring her into the Top 4 spot? We'll see. (See Alaina's "Born To Fly" Performance)

Song: Ne-Yo, "Closer"
Steven said: "Stefano, nobody can say you weren't all up in it"
Jennifer said:"You really had your swag going on"
Randy said: "Dude, you turned me around"

The Mind Slut says: "Stefano's performance borders between cheesy and sexy. His all-smile tantalizing look - cheesy, his jumper and pants without a belt - sexy. With regard to his singing, let's all hope American girls would buy that display of "seductive" swagger"

The Mind Slut says: "Scotty, oh Scotty. What happened? Seriously, the most lame performance of the night. " *yawning

Randy said: "Dude i gotta tell you something, I enjoyed it."

The Mind Slut says: "Where was Casey when god threw the "amazing gift" for singers here on earth?, Well, he's inside a NASA space-shuttle somewhere in space (receiving the first wave from the heavens)."
