Porn stars love Twitter: They chat with fans, tweet Amazon wish lists so their fans can buy them presents, tweet NSFW pictures of partying with Charlie Sheen. But porn stars do not like Facebook, because Facebook doesn't like them.
According to The Daily Beast, Facebook "has proven hostile territory to adult stars, with many claiming their profiles are often deleted, multiple times, and for no reason they can understand." Porn star Andy San Dimas told The Daily Beast, "Even if a fan posts a nude picture of you they delete your account." (Although, Jenna Jameson has a page which is liked by almost 200,000 people.)
This is ridiculous. Facebook champions transparency, personal openness: Who's more open and transparent than a porn star? If anything, they should hire a bunch of porn stars to travel the world and explain why it's cool to let someone make money off your private stuff.
